Description
This LED surface-mounted escape route lighting wall and ceiling mounting autotest is supplied with three pictograms. The luminaire is suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting. In the event of a power failure, the LED surface-mounted escape route lighting will continue to burn for up to 3 hours. It is then visible up to a distance of 28 metres.
This fixture is equipped with a self-test. The first test will be performed 24 hours after installation of the fixture. After that, a function test will be performed every 4 weeks and the burn time of the battery will be tested every year. During a test, the light flashes green. After the test, the LED indicator will light up green or red.
With green light the fixture works properly and with red light it needs to be checked what is wrong. The battery needs to be fully charged before the test is performed and a manual test can always be started by means of the test button.
Emergency lighting legislation
The LED surface-mounted escape route lighting wall and ceiling mounting autotest is suitable as escape route indication. Escape route indication is necessary to indicate escape routes and exits. These pictograms must be permanently lit. The pictograms must fall under the NEN - EN - 7010. This is a European building code that takes precedence over all outdated regulations.
