How are the required lumens calculated?

First determine the desired lux. For example: 200 lux.
How big is the surface? For example: 250m2
You can apply the following formula:
Number of m2 x number of lux = the required lumens.
For example: 200x250 = 5000 lumens
But, this is in a situation where the lamp is hanging at a height of 1m.
If the lamp is hung at a height of 2 metres, the number of lux is 4x lower, at 3 metres it is 9x lower, and at 5 metres it is even 25x lower.
For example: The field is 250m2, the desired lux is 200 and the posts are 3 meters high.
200x250=5000 lumens x 9 = 45,000 lumens
