This non-illuminated surface-mounted push button is equipped with a make (NO) or a break (NC) contact. It is placed in a splash-proof surface-mounted box. The whole is splash-proof, which makes it extremely suitable for use in damp areas and demanding environments. Colour combination: black.
The Niko Hydro products are not suitable for use in ammonia-rich environments (e.g. pig houses).
Splashproof, non-illuminated push button 10 A/250 Vac with 4 connection terminals and an NO or NC contact, excluding surface-mounted box, with plug-in terminals, black. The contact sockets are equipped with plug-in terminals with release for clamping the wires. The releases are operated manually or with a screwdriver from the front. The mechanism is also equipped with a fourth additional connection terminal that allows a lighting unit to be connected. All connection terminals are located at the top of the base and can contain up to 2 x 2.5 mm² of wire. The stripping length (12 mm) of the wires and the connection diagram are indelibly marked on the back of the base. The terminal designation and the switch symbol are indelibly marked on the front. The base is provided with two rectangular recesses at the bottom for integrating a lighting element. A lighting element with wires or an automatic lighting element can be clicked into the left recess (front view). The base is provided with round recesses on the back, which ensure that the automatic lighting element makes direct contact with the mechanism when clicking in, and is therefore also immediately connected correctly. The function is placed in a splash-proof surface-mounted box. The function has an injection-moulded seal and seals hermetically on the adapted box.
Wiring space: Two laterally positioned holders in the box grip the mechanism. A snap connection holds the wired mechanism in place. There is 21.9 mm of wiring space under the mechanism. The cover has an injection-moulded seal and seals hermetically to the adapted box. The switch/pushbutton is made of impact-resistant, dust-proof, halogen-free, self-extinguishing polypropylene (UL94-V2/1.6 mm). The operating button is made of dimensionally stable ABS.
