This surface-mounted socket outlet is equipped with earthing contacts, protective shutters, with plug-in terminals and a protective cover with hinges. Splashproof surface-mounted socket outlet 16 A/250 Vac with earth contact, protective shutters and with plug-in terminals, excluding surface-mounted box, black. Protective flap: Each wall socket is completely covered by a hinged protective flap. A spring and a mounting hook keep the protective flap firmly closed. The sockets are equipped with plug-in terminals with release for clamping the wires. The releases are operated manually or with a screwdriver from the front. All connection terminals are located on the top of the base and can contain up to 2 x 2.5 mm² of wire. The stripping length (14 mm) of the wires is indelibly marked on the back of the base. The function is placed in a splashproof surface-mounted box. The function has an injection-moulded seal and seals hermetically on the adapted box.
Wiring space: Two laterally positioned holders in the box grip the mechanism. A snap connection holds the wired mechanism in place. There is 12.7 mm of wiring space under the mechanism. The cover has an injection-moulded seal and seals hermetically on the adapted box. The socket is made of impact-resistant, dust-resistant, halogen-free and self-extinguishing polypropylene (UL94-V2/1.6 mm). The protective cover is made of dimensionally stable ABS. The socket has a high-quality brass earthing contact.
